FLYING SOUTH

These are my own design. I used the Andersson Toe Up Sock Construction Method along with the Andersson Heel Mach II (revised). The yarn is from Knitman’s Kitchen and is 75% sw Merino 25% nylon, 425m / 100g. I use Addi Lace 2mm circular needles, each knitted simultaneously on their own needle. The gauge was approx 11st+14rws/2.54cm/1”.FLYING SOUTH (1)FLYING SOUTH (2)

Oh, I really like the 'flying geese' pattern down the top of the socks. And I like the sunny yellow and orange yarn, too. Since my view is uniformly grey today (rain and possibly snow by tonight), your socks gave me a nice "spring-y" feeling. Thanks!`

Ooo, my fave colors! Is this a new kind of toe/heel I haven't heard of and where do I find instructions?

Great socks...love the fact that you used ribbing down the back of the leg to make them nice and snug because the pattern stitch...which is delightful...would not be that tight fitting.
