There are quite a few of those large mural like paintings here, both on walls and bus shelters, and no one seems to deface them, although they do get everything else, including my garage door, which is a frequent target.
We have such an area which is official sprayers place, where they work on it in bright daylight and with the town's agreement.
It usually stays clean for a while and then gets those ugly tags anyways.
And the all over appearance changes about every month.
I have some pictures, in different stages from that place, and will keep collecting them :-)
There is a really gifted one who makes space ships and some really convincing "alien writing" on them.
I admire them.
Mannheim has a sprayer shop in the middle of town, did you know that?
The guy owning the store even gives workshops for kids and has good advice for them.
