OH!

Last night I went and did a demonstration of mediumship. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. As did the audience. I got a lot of positive feedback afterwards.

I knew from the evidence I was getting and relaying that all was well. One of the communicators was really funny. He had been a bit of a hell raiser and died in one vehicle motorbike crash. He had returned last evening to speak with his wife and was telling her in no uncertain terms to get on with her life and not to 'save herself' for him. He gave various details about himself, his musical tastes, his favourite drink, and other stuff.

I realised very early this morning, whilst I sat and drank my coffee, that what I do IS important. It affects people profoundly and for the good.

I am NOT just a kept man who contributes nothing to this world and life.

Correct. You are NOT just a KEPT man who contributes nothing. You are important. You are important to John, me, your local friends and innumerable people who are in the knitting community. You DO provide comfort to people when you use your skills as a medium.

One of the high points of my life was the chance to speak to you on the telephone.

Hold your head up high, Colin.

Well, Colin, my dear, that's what most of us have been thinking, and saying around here for awhile now!

You rock, dude. I look forward to reading this blog every day.

Glad the new pool situation is working out better for you. As for the Other Pool -- a pox on it and the people who run it.

Don't you ever start thinking that you're just a "kept man" (although there must be a million reasons why you and John keep each other around). Your posts are just wonderful. My day is brighter if I can start them out reading a new post on your blog--even when you're peeved about something, bullies, health, etc, you just express it with so much humor and elegance that I can't help but smile and wish you all the best.

Good for you! Just because what we do doesn't always translate to currency doesn't mean it's not important.

Wish I could have seen you work.

Will have to travel up to one of your demonstrations of mediumship, you sound as if you have fun too, that makes it all the better and more interesting I think.

Good to hear the pool is working out okay.

People are like ripples on a pond. Your ripple touches others and changes them. Can't help it.

Like the sci-fi shows where someone steps on a butterfly and changes the entire world, you can't get through life without changing the outcome of the world.

Oh wow, good for you, stand up and be counted, you are an important person and don't you let anyone make you think otherwise. If you ever come across my gramps during one of your readings he would say to you...''Aye Lad, you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time''' or another saying was''Ain't nowt as odd as folk lass, nosey parkers by their thousands all med-lin in what don't concern 'em'' Glad you had a fun evening. Funny sometimes how it comes to ya isn't it? higz and love peace and light..Cher
